If you could only have one reverb plugin, which one would it be? Which plug-in stands above the others?

Blue-verb.
Realistic and lots of controls.

Alot better than R-verb anyday.

definitley go for a convolution reverb with some good impulses, there are tons out there now

I'll also to vote for SIR for now, but will be happy to switch votes if someone can turn me on to other freeware that does what SIR does but doesn't have such a poor UI.

altiverb is really good, but it eats up ALOT of system resorces, arts acoustic reverb isn't half bad.. but i would choose Rverb over the rest, although i obviously havn't tryed to many i found that rverb runs smooth on my system and i seem to get good results with it. but if you have a fast system and cpu or ram usage isn't an issue i would go with altiverb, its designed after real samled rooms and therefor sounds verry realistic.

my $0.02

SpaceDesigner (does the fact that it's a convolution reverb disqualify it?)

arts acoustic verb is beautiful...I also really like Audio Damage - Reverance (lovely)

I tried looking for this SIR reverb, but can't find it. It's free? Anyone have a link?

And I also read some reviews that it has latency issues and there's some delay fix plug-in. Do yall need that delay fixer?

Never had a lot of luck with the SIR reverb but I didn't spend that much time with it.

Lots mentioned in this thread that I've never heard of before.

Right now I'm using Waves RVerb and GlaceVerb (free). I'm happy with both of them.

when you use impulse convulsion verbs a lot depends on the impulse files you use.

i can only recommend you to spend some time with SIR and be amazed!!!

UAD EMT 140.

SIR sucks, never ever gotten any IR to sound even remotely good in that. And I've got gigs of IR's. Altiverb is pretty cool.
