hahaha. sorry, but this thought just occured to me. i don't know if it's just because i've just recently begun to be serious about writing and recording my own music, but i've just found that when i start writing and getting into the process of creating one song, more come from it.
i' don't know if i've just tapped something inside me thats been waiting to flow free for years, or if this is pretty common, but it feels weird/amazing all the same.

anyone else feel this way?

mostly i just get melodies to start and then form the words around them. sometimes stemming from the basic emotional substance that the song produced for me, and sometimes just cause they fall in with the beat.

anyway. it rocks :)

Interesting point.

I think there's a subconcious pool of creativity that one may tap into, mostly [IMO] by "becoming one" with your instrument, which, in the long run, comes from practice and "rote" repetition.

Anyway, that's my take on it.

Interesting topic. ;)

Without getting all metaphysical, I'd say you are being given a gift. Just keep using it and enjoy the creativity! The why is not even important--don't dwell on it--treat it like its magic...
