I heard on here somewhere, that if u have a Multichannel S/C. That there's no Need For a Mixer. Is that True????? if so, Then i can mix off my computer, BUT will it be easier just to do it with a mixer??????

Well, no. Just the opposite. If you have a card with multiple outputs you would need some way to sum them together, in a word, a mixer. Actually, you can mix internally (inside the computer) no matter what kind of card you have, two inputs or fifty-two, it just wouldn't make sense to have multiple ins and outs and not utilize them.

Yeah, if you have mic preamps for every input. I have a multi-channel soundcard (actually two Deltas linked together) and the only thing that forced me to keep using my Mackie mixer was the fact that I dont have enough outboard preamps and had to use the ones on it.

You don't need a mixer with a multi-channel soundcard. You need a second computer to act as a mixer. When your music is in your computer, it is now digital. If you want a mixer, you can get a digital mixer or a second computer to act as a mixer. There is also a program that acts like a second computer that acts like a mixer. This is a plugin called "MegaACT". It acts as a digital mixer OR a second computer that acts as a digital mixer.

Hope this helps.

Delta products include a digital mixer interface for your computer.
