...I would most definitely appreciate it. I just bought a new computer:
PIII 533 Mhz/128MB/8.4GIG
I own the following gear:
Roland XP-80
E-MU E-Synth
Mackie 1202VLZ
Alesis monitor Ones
RA-100 amp
Shure S-58 mic
What kind of sound cards do you guys find the most reliable? What are the outs for on a card, and why do you usually get more outs than ins?
Just a few more questions, bear with me
If I plugged an audio CD player into the sampler of the E-synth, how would I hear what I was doing? In other words, how would the sample be heard? What type of connectivity am I looking forward to.
Also, how do you hook the following up?:
Monitor Ones--->amp--->mixer--->computer?
With a sophisticated sound card and some help, maybe I can break this technological barrier.
I feel at home here.
