What's this button do?
AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
Some kids were borrowing my guitar (without my permission) and managed to cave in the hole for the 1/4 inch plug, along with a solid chunk of rosewood next to it. Looks like they set it down real hard on the cord. Can this be fixed? And I don't mean just patched, but made to look good again? I waaayyy overpayed for this guitar because I loved it. It's an Ibanez acoustic, sitka and rosewood, solid... I think thats enough info....
Somebody Help!!!

And I would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for theose meddling kids!

Sorry, I can never resist a Scooby-Doo reference.

I would suggest you go to a reputable guitar repair shop in your local area and ask them. Not many people have the skill to fix that sort of thing, but a guitar repairman or a luthier would be your best bet.

Fortunately there is a highly reputable guy in town, I just worry what they can do to make wood go back together, especially with pieces missing, and preserving the looks. Thanks for the post.
