If I'm planning on 2 AT4047s, get a factory matched pair?

Or are they matched up fine out of the box? I'm looking to order two from musiciansfriend but don't know if I should order directly from AT. Can I only order factory matched directly from them, and if so, does it cost more than buying two separately?
 
AT claim that their tolerances are close enough that matching pairs is unnecessary

I don't think that AT does matching - I've certainly never seen any "matched" AT mics.
 
Audio Technica does not offer matched pairs. Their QC is tight enough that any two mics will have matched performance. They also won't sell directly to an end user. You'll need to buy the mics through a dealer.

The funny thing about that is that while they won't sell directly to a user, they will ship to one. The last AT2020 I bought from a dealer was shipped straight from AT to me. :)
