This is just for fun....no critique possible (you'll see). I probably won't leave it up very long.
It's 25 years or so ago at a party. I think I hear spoons in the background. I've left the highs in even though it's a little hissy so you can understand the words. :)

This IS funny! But its also a very well written parody. Makes a man wonder what else you have hidden in the old archives. I bet you have all kinds of lost gems of one form or another.

I actually do have a lot of stuff. I'd simply forgotten about a lot of it. I'll be dribbling it out here and there when I can't find time to do new stuff. This particular band did about 23 originals...mostly parody type stuff like: Jaws of Love ( I Ate My Baby) done in a 50's doo wop....that sort of thing.

Guernica.....man..... it's so funny! That eyeball avatar of yours looks almost exactly like the center label on the EP record we put that song on. :D The drummer shoved his face on a xerox machine and we cut a circle from it and put it on the B-side of the record and it was the exact same damn thing as your avatar. Too cool.....too cool...

If you knew how lit I was right now you would know how much I liked this.. Not only are the lyrics important, the melody/vocals are great.. :D The recording is very good too for the most part. I truly must write a pot song.. I have worked on a bunch of different ones, but never found the right words.. I really wanted to make a ballad.... a ballad for pot..

It would be my first love song. :)

Thanks sam.....those were great days and I do have a lot of stuff from the days that I think I might have to either post or redo. There's actually a better version of this song....I've just got to find it. It has little munchkin voices and Toto too.
I'd actually forgotten that I had all this stuff 'till I ran across this tape. As time permits......I will mix them and stick 'em up.

I do, however, feel this song should immediately be declared the Homerecording.com anthem :D

Yes, this would make a fine anthem for homerec, and at ballparks where they still play on grass. :D
