RECORD SOMETHING!!!

When I record a scratch drum track to track 1...and then arm track 2 for recording...track 2 is catching the drum track from 1 and recording it...I know this has to be something extremely simple....but I've been fooling around with this program for the last week and am just totally brain dead.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening...?

The very first sticky on this forum is titled, "When track one records onto track two." Why don't you start there? You are feeding the playback of the first one into the recording bus of the second. That's all there is to it. There will be a way designed into your hardware to keep that from happening. Since none of know what your hardware is, you'll have to figure that part out, starting with the manuals. Good luck.
