Hola amigos---
I've got an outdoor recording gig coming up, and I'll be recording a 30 member choir and accompanist. I'll be setting up the PA and recording from the board, using 4 small diaphragm mics. But the one big thing that worries me is wind noise. I have cheapie pop filters for each mic, but I think I really need to be using something like a "Blimp" or "zeppelin" covered with fur like you see when they record a commercial or movie outside.
Problem is, I don't want to spend $50 each on 4 blimps for this one project. Can anyone give some ound suggestions on how you might be able to build something to isolate mics from wind noise?
