MY computer has two IDE slots. Am I correct in thinking that I can only hook up two devices to each slot??? I have a CD rom, CDRW, ZIP drive and hard drive hooked up. Is it impossible for me to add another IDE hard drive???

That's exactly my configuration as well. But all is not lost. Your quest for another HD is not impossible! One option is to get Scuzzy but that can set you back a few bucks. But the data transfer rate is still better than IDE. But you'll need an extra IRQ laying around to run the SCSI card. Or just lose the Zip drive; they suck anyway! Too small and too slow. Or trade it in on a USB zip drive.
One more option: just get a larger IDE drive.
With my burner as a relief valve, my 13.4 GB
IDE drive never became cluttered until I got really lazy and went apeshit at mp3.com with my cable modem. One MORE option: another IDE
controller card. But if you're gonna do that, you might as well go SCSI.

All is not lost. One thing you can do is go out and buy a Promise IDE controller card, or any IDE controller card for that matter (I'm partial to Promise) pop it into a free PCI slot and *bang* two more IDE channels for ya.
