Can you point me to covers made here?

I already heard "Let's go To Bed", "Safety Dance", and "Every breath you take".

Can you point me to others?

Cheers, Andrés

I really liked the Let's Go to Bed cover, Bear!

I'm downloading everything.

dachay,

Very nice! intonation was absolutely perfect. Did you sing this? All the parts?

Hey Track Rat,

Boy that brought back some memories! I was in high school when that came out. The band I was in at the time covered a couple of Mountain tunes. Very faithful rendition. That must have been a fun one to do.

By the way, I just found out recently what a "Nantucket Sleighride" is. When whaling was still a way of life, Nantuket was the home of one of the most prominent whaling ports in the world. Anyway, the small whale boats are launched from the ship when a whale is spotted at sea. After he was harpooned, he could pull the whale boat for quite some distance before he finally expired. That was a Nantucket Sleighride.

Did you sing this? All the parts?

Thanks, twist. Although I do sing one of the parts, there are 4 separate voices on that track.

I thank you Twist. It was a blast inspired by Dave Mania! It was just one of those tunes I always wanted to do.

Tanks!

That was a normal bass track being ducked by the snare to give it that rounded-off or muted sound....

Thanx again for the mention, Track Rat!

As I said before, your cover of "Nantucket Sleigh Ride" sounds about as professional as can be, without actually being on the radio.

Bruce, really nice job on Close2Me. First, [duh-me], I originally thought that was a Cars tune, and worse, I've had that downloaded since way-back-when, and somehow I thought that was Track Rat's cover! [Oops!]. Well, now at least I'm straightened out, that it's Bruce doing a cover of The Cure. [Sorry, I was obviously mixed up].

For the latecomer's info, Davemania was my all-cover-free-4-cd project, from a few months back, which featured my cover versions of The Beatles, David Bowie, Black Flag, The Ramones, and a host of others, too numerous to mention. Unfortunately, I have not had the time or web expertise to migrate Davemania to the web. I've been meaning to talk to Waldo about that, someday.

Good job, you guys! Myself, being almost totally devoid of original ideas, I think cover tunes are great! I give this thread two thumbs up!

Keep up the good work, and may the spirit of Davemania be with you! [Haha].
;)
