People seem to be asking between $3000 and $4000 for the reissue PS-10's. Unfortunately, Ibanez has issued several versions of the PS-10, so it's hard to price these things. Original PS10's from 1978 in unused condition are getting upwards of $10,000. I wish I still had mine.
The PS-10 II were the korean made guitar, so it won't command as much money as the LTD or the Classic.

Thanks man! Any idea how to tell which model is worth what amount, based on serial number or whatever? I am only asking, as I really don't want to give bad advice to a friend in need of cash.

The best way to determine the value is to ebay it. Unfortunately, this is the wrong time of the year to sell something. I sold my 1978 IC400 in January 2004 and I only got $500 for it. (there were only 117 of them made, compared to the 313 PS-10's that were made that year)
Between the economy, the fact that his PS-10 II was korean made, and the time of year, he might get less than $1000 for it.
