I tried someting I never tried .

I have a Phonic Powerpod 620 which is an entry level powered mixer . I pluged two phono leads one red one white into the CD tape out into my minidisc recorder then pluged my guitar as usual and my mic and recorded myself with a bit of plate reverb and I was surpised at the qualty.

It was a nice clean sound especially when i as doing slow
fingerpicking and singing

do you know if there is a way this can be linked to a computor?

I am hopeless when it comes to some basic mixing skills.
The Phonic powerpod specs states it has built in limiters maybe thats whats causing the sound to stay quite tight.

OK I am not saying its super duper studio quality but much better then I expected. As I am so used to just using it for live gigs rigged up to speakers.

You need to go out of your MiniDisc and into your computer soundcard and record it with a recording program. Some MDs let you transfer digitally through USB.
