Ok, i've been looking into to treating my room for awhile. But i don't have much room. On one wall, i have my door and my desk with all my stuff, computer, moniters, mixer, etc. This takes up the front of my room. The next wall, another small desk with mpc, turntable vinyl. 3rd wall, bead window. 4th wall, closet. Now my room is not totally square but i have no floor space what so ever except in the middle of my room. I have wall space infront of my setup (i'd have to move things back), and on the wall to the right. Behind me is a window facing the street. So i can't really put anything there, atleast in the summer months because cali+no a/c = . Do i have any hope?

Well for bass trapping you really want to straddle corners within the room, but the good news is ceiling to wall corners will work also. Not sure if you have room for first reflection points you may want to try to move things around if you can. Also treating the ceiling is a wise choose if you can.

Exactly.

Use all of the horizontal corners around the wall/ceiling perimeter for bass and broadband control.

You have to find some way to get the first reflection points covered on the side walls.

You can make some sort of standing or temporary hanging panel for the wall behind you so it can go up and down as needed over the window - or be made with 'feet' to stand off the window a few inches to allow some airflow. Seriously though - you can't effectively record or mix with the window open anyway - it just messes up the noise floor too much.

Thanks, i thought about the ceiling but have only read about "clouds"- i think that is what they are called. But, i can still only do one corner i just reaized. Plus my ceiling is sloped. This room is cursed :( :D . And i don't record or mix with the window open ever. But it's only may and is getting up in the 90's so it's open more than not at night time. It's right next to my bed which is a problem. And i live in cali-earthquakes-problem. And if it looks like wood covering up the window as my room faces the street-Probelm. Any other suggestions? How sturdy does it have to be mounted? Maybe i can make something temporary and just put things up everyday.
