i want to be the next trent reznor

Hey im really into industrial and heavy techo. so far i have Acid Dj (im getting the full version soon) N-track , stienberg b-box.
what else do i need to have or should i have or could i have? im considering reaktor, or reberth or some kind of midi key board controlable software sampler like giga sampler or the bithedz one. i have a couple of sample cds and drum sample cds. and am getting a new sound card and a second hard drive....
so what else?
 
Well first off,
If you want to be the next T. Reznor... Take into account the fact that, somewhere down the line, you will be required to f*ck Courtney Love... If this doesn't change your mind, Steinberg's Rebirth is a pretty good start. Soon I hope to post an MP3 that was done using Rebirth with heavy ass guitar tracks added.

you'll probably also want an audio editor, like sound forge....or goldwave.

Yes Reco, I agree with S8-N: to be the next Trent, you'd have to get busy with Courtney. However you'd also have to master a uniquely fatalistic view of life, buy a haunted mansion in New Orleans, make videos completely hammered, hit your drummer over the head with a mic stand, get lots of good high-speed footage of decaying animals to play at your concerts, and invent new ways to scare everyone's parents.

...and Janet Reno - yes, eventually, you'd have to make the beast-with-two-backs with the attorney general. That's of course after you've decided to follow Jesse Ventura's lead, and go into politics. Then you'd REALLY have to become a degenerate!
