What do you recommend for hip hop vocals?
That made me laugh...I mean, you eventually whimped out with the "I'm kidding" stuff, but until that, it was perfect, lol.joro said:a muzzle?![]()

Lol...I agree with everything you said; but just in case there's any confusion, my post was a little on the sarcastic side, lol.SOUND DIAGNOSIS said:"Great recordings". Hmm. Quality or content? Let's go the quality route. Lot's of real estate to cover here. I will say that I have heard countless examples of crapola quality- wise made recordings engineered with all the "heavy hitters" in the equipment world.
Many of these condescending, self righteous, high-end fuckheads that occasionally make a point of downing CEP/AA are nieve to the power of this program and they are plain snobs.
That out of the way and getting back to the thread topic, LISTENING and being able to correct your mixes/mastering as you go, is the ONLY way you personally will be able to achieve great recordings, REGARDLESS of equipment. (Unless you really have a rig that is shite). CEP/AA is a wonderful more-than-basic "music making" tool that in the right hands can produce air-worthy records NO SWEAT, including mastering....yes MASTERING. Someone DARE to dispute that, give me a cogent reason and I will respond. ---Lee
P.S. Regarding presets, some I use, most I don't. Especially reverbs. I like to especially tailor those.
