Me And A Couple Of My Friends Are Startin Up A Rap Group. We Were Wondering How Should We Go About Settin Up A Studio Using My Computer. Where Do We Begin? I Have 4 Programs For My Computer (fruity Loops, Traktor Dj Studio, Acid Pro 4.0 And Wavepad) Id Sure Appreciate It If Someone Could Help Me Get Off In The Right Direction.

i dunno why but sometimes when i type i like to capitalize every begining letter. i dont see what was so painful to read. all i wanna know is if someone can give me some guidance on how to start up a low budget recording studio.

Have a read of the Tweakheads guide.
I guess what you're looking for is a decent mic and a way to get that into your computer.
Low budget option would be something like a SM58 with a USB interface like the M-Box or Mackie's Spike.

Long term you'd bee looking at a better mic, a better preamp, decent monitors... practically everything else that this board reccommends
