"I wanna get with you", review please... my first recording with piano

I think this would be under pop or hip/hop if it had to be labeled (or comedy). It's my first time recording someone other than myself and even so I sing the chorus on it because they asked me too. I did this for my friends. It should be done now. I'd like to know how the recording is and how the mix is and what can be improved. By the way, it's meant to sound commerical.

 
Piano is there, that's for sure. Need a tuner? Did you mean for it to sound "detuned"? Maybe it's the acoustic guitar...not in tune w/ the piano? It kind of reminds me of an old out of tune spinnet piano.
Lot's of cliche' lyrics man. I dig the hook tho...I want to get w/ you.....nice harmonies...soft..cool.
Nope....piano is detuned on out too. I think the vocal has some questionable pitch spots. Overall, I think the track is mixed well. The "beat" bugs me a bit...constant hi hat shit...I could have used a few rhythmic variations as far as the instrumentation of it. sounds a bit like sugar ray.
