The episode keeps getting longer :D

Anyway, what I wanna know is. I have Cakewalk PA9. Can I get Sonar via an upgrade, and if so, how much does it cost. Or is it completely seperate and I have to hand all my big bucks (not that we have them in England...)

Thanks :D

The almighty Dachay beats me for a minutes :D

$249 Pro Audio 9 to SONAR 2.2 XL.

How damn expensive do you wanna get. Its not the price, but the fact a month later they'll bring out the next version and I'll have to throw away more. :(

They develope it step by step. Adding more features, solving bugs & problems. Providing better products. Addapting with newer technology. Updating here and there.

They deserve to be appreciated for their hard work :)

By purchasing current product, you help them to work on future project. And life goes on.

In other words, you're not the only one who needs to be feed daily :D

Yeah OK, but like 50 quid every other week is pushing it :P

and its fed, not feed (sorry I'm in a real picky mood :))

You're not gonna have to upgrade every other week. We're not talking about Nero, here!:p Do what ya gotta do; get Sonar, upgrade to 2.2, and have at it! You won't be sorry.

So you'll pay over $1000.00 for it over a five year period. So what. The latest and greatest ain't cheap.

Cheers Bluesy. Seems like a reasonable price to me now :D

Homestudio2002 is much cheaper...(more limited, but not very much...and I can't see you recording 10 tracks at the same time with that friggin' soundcard of yours, CanopuS ;) )

Nah I was thinking of getting the Aardvark Q10-Cakewalk PA9 bundle, and then upgrading to Sonar. Sounds alright to me.
