Okay, so basicly, my question is pretty simple. I dont use EQ very often, at all really. If i do its just a treble or a bass boost. But my mixes need to sound better. When i fool around with the EQ on Itunes, I've found that I like the "rock" setting. I'd like to use it on sonar. But I'm having trouble doing it.

I'd like to take the Itunes EQ, and throw it into the Sonitus EQ on Sonar 4. Could anybody help me out with this? It would be greatly appreciated!

I have attachments of pictures of both!

Thanks alot

if your just trying to mimic the curve of the Itunes EQ..........thats easy!

loook at the Itunes EQ db levels on the sides of the graph.......it will read 0 db, and go up to 6-8 db up or down.

in your sonitus eq, grab one of the eqs (like #1) at set it at 64hz, and boost it up to where the same Db are in your itunes settings, and change the "q" knob to where the curve is starting to look like the same curve on the itunes graph. Now grab Eq #6 at set it at around 16-20k, and boost that to the same db level as whats shown in your itunes eq, and mess with the "q" control so it loks like the same curve in the itunes as well.

the finished product should have the typical "happy smile" curve, and the 1 k should be somewhere around 0 db.

now mess with the output level and pull it down a bit, or set to your likeings.
