I've posted this before, but this weekend I did a lot of work on it. First of all, I replaced the programmed drum samples with real drums. I played drums for a duration of about two years almost 17 years ago so I'm still very rusty. This is as good as it gets after two weeks of practice.
Also, I replaced my recorded and looped bass line with a "live" track, and rerecorded the vocal line.
Now, it's all "real" instruments and real playing. There's nothing like finally having real drums, although it's infinitely harder to get a halfway decent sound, which I don't think I accomplished very well. The guitar amp is Amplitube, the bass is direct into Reaper. I used a handful of VSTs from http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com and "Glaceverb" (I can't remember where I got it, but I'm sure it's easily found with Google if you're interested.)

Now that I have drums, I have 11 more songs to add drums tracks to and I have a CD, maybe.
