Since you are using Fender pups why not wire it like a Strat? Chances are that the wiring is already very similar if not the same. http://www.1728.com/guitar.htm should give you the info for what you need. If not, check the Fender site for Strat wiring diagrams.
A couple of years ago I refretted an old Guyatone - 46 years old. It sounded good through my Twin, I was surprised. If it is one of those old ones don't throw away the old pick ups as collectors like them to be original.
