I need to reach local bands.

So if you know anyone with like an email list of bands in your area, please let me know.

I know a dude in Tampa Bay that is a promoter and he has a list of several hundred local bands and musicians, I am hoping to find that in several cities worldwide.

wish I could get the attention of my website out to the masses. It's meant for what you need lol. Just sooo hard to get traffic to it!
 
I'm from Charlottesville, VA. There's something on Facebook called the "C-ville music scene." I don't really use facebook that much so I don't know too much about it. All I know is that it's a group where all the local musicians from Charlottesville can get together and all that other social stuff. There's lots of local bands in that group. I think my band is even in there.

Cool man I will check this out.

I am seriously considering just going through rev nation or sound click and messaging bands one at a time. Seems like there should be an easier way though.
 
You could probbably pick up a lot of converts sifting through band/artist contacts on MeSpace, as that place is totally dead! :D

I have some more stuff to upload...now that you stretched that file limit. :)

I could probably help you find a list of local Dubuque, IA bands, but I'd like to know your intentions for them first.

Right now it plays the music made by the people here at HR - it's internet radio for independent musicians.
