My new book on record production has been very well received on Amazon. It currently has 5 stars; and a few weeks ago, it hit the #1 best seller position in Music. I would love some feedback, so I am offering the book for free on Tuesday, May 29th.

To the moderators: I hope that you will not penalize me for spamming. As I wrote above, this is a free offer to get some feedback from other producers. My book can really help people get started on the right track with record production. I hope that you will allow the other members to check it out.

It is called "Big Time Techniques for the Small Time Record Producer" and here is the link:

Big Time Techniques for the Small Time Record Producer: Jason Johnson: Amazon.com: Kindle Store

Check it out on Tuesday and please get back to me with your thoughts.

It is an easy read.

Seriously, it's cheap enough that I just bought it after reading a bit of the preview. Thanks!

OMG is this jason alan johnson?

dude, i read your book last month. it was legit. i haven't completed anything yet but i am definately using the info on my next project.

i'll let you know how it goes.

Is your book only available for the Kindle or is there a physical edition too?

Just a Kindle version for now hellohans... I have no plans to send it to print at this time, because there has not been a big demand for a printed version. However, things could change and I will keep you in mind if they do. Meanwhile, I should tell you that you do not need a Kindle to read Kindle books. They will work with any e-reader, on your pc, or even on your phone.

KenHR...

Thanks for the sale. You're right, it is only 99 cents right now so you certainly do not have to wait. I cannot gaurantee that it will remain 99 cents in the future. So if anyone else is interested, they should get it on the free day.

Let me know your thoughts when you get a chance, Ken. I think this book builds a strong foundation for beginners and independents to begin managing recording projects, and there are some common questions on this forum that the book addresses.

Krystal...

I am glad to see that you enjoyed the book. Although I believe the book has given you all the information you will need, you should send me your facebook page in a PM. Then I can give you some one on one consulting. BTW, I like your picture ;)

Friends,

:facepalm:My small organization has fallen victim to a computer glitch, resulting in substantial miscommunication. “Big Time Techniques for the Small Time Record Producer” will be free on Amazon tomorrow Wednesday, May 30th. I apologize for the mistake.

May 30th is scheduled and verified. You should be able to download the book by 2:00AM PST (5:00AM EST)

Well, well... your book made you sound like Mr organized businessman, but you are a dork like the rest of us. Evidently one who can't get his dates strait. :spank:i recommended your book to a couple friends and told them about your free day. they might be too upset to get your book tomorrow.:)

Hopefully, other people will be more reasonable than your friends. I am definitely new to the book industry. I am a producer and a musician. I am sorry that I don't live up to your expectations, but I am not about pushing books. Music is my game.

Well my response to you is thanks very much for giving me a free book which looks like it will be very interesting and informative.

I will read it on my kindle and get back to this thread.

thanks again
