I Need Some High Freq. Traps

Bass traps I've got, it's something to cut down on some of the highs that I need. The thing I am thinking about would (possibly) be some sort of device hanging from the celing (over the drums) to absorb some of the highs, mainly from cymbals. My room is 13"X27" with 10" celing. Drums are about 1/3 of the way out lengthwise and centered. Hanging something over the drums would not be a problem, I need to know what will serve my need best and not break my bank account. Recording cymbals is my problem (at the moment) and I am trying to cut down on the high frequency reflections. Also would setting the drums in a different place in the room greatly affect the way these frequencies are recordable?

1" material covered rigid fiberglass should do the trick. hung from the ceiling, with fishing wire, and on the walls.

OK i can do the rigid fiberglass thing. Now i need to know what size to make the panels and how far down to hang them. thanks

Probably just keep them the size they come in, usually 2'x4', and I'm unsure about hanging. Probably any height, even straight onto the ceiling, best to check out will people "in the know" first though.

2" thick and 1"-2" off the ceiling should do the trick!
