I just got a pair to check out. If I don't use them on the road, I can use them to watch DVDs while the wife is sleeping.
The sound good, but are very suseptable to interference from my wireless network hub. As long as I do not use them in the same room as the hub I am good.
There is supposed to be a range extender you can get for them but I have not seen any info on it.
I should probably tell you all why I needed something like this. My Senheizers died. When I do a live recording gig I do not yet have the luxury or a remote truck. The only way I can listen to the mics is on headphones. Sometimes I use noise canceling phnes from Bose. The best way I found was to put on a pair of wireless phones and walk out of the club.
