My sonar power studio 250 program continue to play when I hit the stop button

Computer specs...?
Do you have anything else plugged into your USB ports besides the SPS-25?
How many tracks were recorded? Audio, Midi or both?
How many effects in use?

My computer specs. compaq Presario AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual, Core Processor 3800t, 2.00GHZ, 343 GB Ram
usb Sonar Power Studio soundcard, Sonar 6 Power Studio Software.



All tracks recorded in 20 different folders a avg. of 7 tracks each 1 audio 6 vocals,2 effects per folder, 1 usb port for usb Sonar Power Studio soundcard.

It seems to me that your processor is running out of juice. Have you taken the steps to 'optimize [insert OS Here] for audio recording?

You really need to give up all your personal details, including your bank account passwords. lol! Just kidding.
