I need help with my current setup of the equipment I have on hand listed as followed

Equipment:

Alesis SR-16 Drum Machine- (Main Out put) to Behringer Mixer (In put Track 9/10)

Korg Sampler- (Out-put to Behringer Mixer (In put Track 13/14).

Casio Key board-( Out-put to Behringer Mixer In put Track 11/12).

Midi port 1x1-( USB to Dell Computer)

Fostex Multitrack 8 Track Recorder- (Out put to Behringer Mixer In put Track 1/ 2.

Pioneer CD Burner- ( Play out to In put (CD) Daewoo Home Theater System Record to Behringer 2 Track mixer Out put/In put from Mixer to Fostex Out put ) CD Burner for Monitoring.


Midi Set-up

Alesis SR-16 Drum Machine (Midi in/out to Korg Rhythm Production Sampler)

Casio Keyboard( Midi in/out to USB Midi port 1x1) to PC

I have a quite bit of equipment which listed a long with my set up which I can't get everything working together (my question is) How do I get everything set up and working together a long with my midi set your input would greatly be appreciated.

You put the output into the inputs and go.

That's it, really. If you have any more detailed questions I'm sure we can help with those too.

I need to know do i need to add a sequencer or some sort of software to my setup. It seems like I am missing something please give me some good sequencer software or hardware or any other advice. Thanks
 
You only need that if you want to use it. Since it seems so far that you have no idea of how to use the rest of the stuff you have, how about learning how to use that first. ;)

So if you need a sequencer, then yes, you need a sequencer. Otherwise not. You already have a fostex multitracker. Start recording to that.
