I need help with my computer set up

Hi,
I have a fostex vf 80 recorder, I want to be able to run my recorded tracks from the recorder into the computer into Cakewalk music creator or sound forge 6.0. for editing or mastering. I have a dell computer 18gb space I need to know if this possible or what do I need to make this happen. Thanks

If you're recording more than 2 tracks at a time onto the computer, you will need a multi input card and at least Home Studio 2004. The cheaper Cakewalk software titles like Music Creator don't work with multi input cards.
