I need Help with Mixing Down

Hi, I'm absolutely new to recording and was wondering how do I make a final copy of my 4 track recording so I can play it normally in a cassette player? My 4 track is a Yamaha. Do I need any specific cables?

I'm impressed that you are using a cassette player. What part of the world are you in?

Your 4 track sends the mix to the stereo bus. You need to find the outs for the stereo bus and patch them into your cassette recorder. Or you could patch them to the inputs of an audio interface and record them digitally. You will reach many more listeners.

The easy way is to hook up a cassette deck and record it. Normally, a 4-channel, 4-track has to bounce two channels so everything is on the needed two channels. It should be in the manual, if it is possible on this deck

What model Yamaha do you have?

They usually have a mix-down facility, and as others have said, a stereo RCA to RCA from 4-track to another cassette deck should do the trick.
