I have a file I'm working on for a game. The file that I have attached named badwin_med_off contains what I'm going to call too much sizzle sound in it. This is for an engine sound, so as the engine revs higher different files come into play. Once the game calls for this file, when it first starts to play you get really bad static. The other file I have attached named
win_med_off is the file I have replaced the original with but the problem is this sound doesn't have what I would call the falling off effect to it that the original does. I hope I'm making sense, I'm no sound expert by any stretch of the word. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Also I have GoldWave and WavePad that I'm working with. Thanks.

I got it figured out. I removed some of the treble from the sound file and that in turn allowed the file to be played with less of the hiss and removed the static I was getting when the file played.
