my genre of recording is hip hop & r&b, and i want a phantom powered audio interface with xlr inputs for my mxl v63 & 67 mics

i am in the 50 - 200 bucks budget

i want the line 6 podcast ux2 but idk, ive been tryin 2 ask around : does the ux2 only sounds good for guitarists? & if not not, can this audio interface be used to record hip & r & b songs . most of the customer reviews that i see on it are by guitar players. how are the preamps for condensor mics?

if the ux2 is a bad choice for recording hip & r&b vocals, do ya know any other audio interfaces that arn't &have good preamps for condensor mics

i just wanna upgrade from my art usb dual pre, 4 a easier setup

Get something like a presonus firebox. It will have better pre amps.

Yamaha

Consider the Yamaha/Steinberg products Steinberg has introduced the CI2 Advanced Integration USB Studio. This product line has allowed me to upgrade easily and affordably as my recording needs/wants changed. Dump all the PT hype you may hear and compare features at the price point you specified then, look at upgrade paths. By upgrade not just number of inputs but, A/D and D/A conversion, track count, sample rate and OS support...this product will do the job.
