well
bring the vocal up just a little (5DB) is the bass guitar paned to the left or right? if it is put it in the middle. was you using a drum machine? you could bring the drums up a little(3-5db) and take a little of the delay off the vocal but leave some on.

that echo effect sounds like a vocal effect from the fifties. what processor/plugin did you use for that?
