There are so many autotune tutorials on google... Btw, saying "autotune voice" is vague, but I'm assuming you're talking about the settings T-pain used on his voice.

...and he said to look it up on google. You'll probably find some directions there. Or you can try and read the manual that comes with your auto-tune plugin or equivalent. They should discuss the general procedure for installing in your recording software.

If you don't have an autotune software plugin, you need to buy one or find a free one if it exists...unless cool edit pro has one built in.

Cool Edit does not run VST only Direct X plugins. Auto tune is a VST Plugin. You might be able to get around it using a VST wrapper but it may or may not work with autotune

This logically does not make sense.

You were asking for help installing autotune onto Cool Edit Pro, which is essentially a dead, outdated, 9 year old program. Then all of a sudden you asked if you can use autotune for Audition 3, a much more recent program (and the successor to CEP, I might add). Why ask to use it for an ancient DAW if you have a modern one already?

You don't need Autotune you WANT it.
There are other FX that's achieve the same horrible sound that is rather popular at present.
If you NEED autotune because you have difficulty staying in tune you need lessons.

its not that what im trying to say guys i just want to install autotune just for curiosity guys
im not gonna that shit on my record its already dead
D.O.A

I don't think anyone understands what you are asking. Do you or don't you already have an autotune program????

Are you just starting to learn how to write and type as well?

I and most people on here can't seem to understand anything you're saying.

As far as you wanting to know Auto-Tune, most likely bootlegged, you wouldn't be asking us these simple questions: You'd be reading your owners manuel or something like that.

Give him a break. Possible he is from a country where english isn't the first language.

Maybe you mean who you run it like in a live environment, and how you use the stepper etc ...

Man, this sounds familiar [/in-joke]

Okay instead being an ass-hole like everyone else has in this forum im gonna help you out at least to because i kind of understand what your asking...because i had this same problem also...the dl link is here...for the autotune 4 http://www.antarestech.com/download/update2.shtml now try to install that and than you are on your won from there because there are different ways to do install and make it work for cool pro. coo pro dont work for vst it only takes direct x...im guessing you have to copy the autotune files into the cool edit pro files but im not sure hope i help you out.
