does anyone know anyone who is selling a tascam 388? I live in the NY city area, but I would drive anywhere in the northeast to pick it up...

Check ebay. I think there is still one or 2 on there right now. I was thinking about one for a while, too. Dave (reel person) does a mean sales pitch, eh? :D

D'oh. The one I was thinking of with "buy it now" must have been bought....

Keep watching ebay, though. They come buy fairly regularly.
