I Need a Suggestion for mobile DAT recorder!

I want to use it to carry around and record sounds. I need to be able to hook my Shure SM86 up to it.

Here is one thing I do when I'm scoping out gear. Go to Google and punch in Mobile DAT recorders.

Then, look at the brands and their bells & whistles and prices.

Then, contact two/three major vendors and compare prices.

Then, decide which one fits your needs; and, be sure to check with the vendor about "return" policies.
