I need a midi sequencer

I am just getting into home recording. I am looking for a midi sequencer to use with my keyboards and modules. I had a mastertracks pro program with an old mac at one time, but, I've gone to a PC system. What are some good midi sequencers out there. Also, do they make a straight midi sequencer anymore? All I've seen are a mixture between midi and audio.

You can get MasterTracks Pro for the PC, but it's not nearly as good as the newer products from Cakewalk. (I recently switched after nearly 10 years with MasterTracks.) Even if you don't need audio recording right now, there's no harm in having that feature available. I use Cakewalk Sonar which is not cheap, but they offer lower priced versions that will do exactly what you want.
