I need a little help with audiophile

I was wondering how do I hook my monitor to the audiophile I have a roland ma-8 monitor ( i kno its not all that) here are the settings im using im hooking my synth to the in input of the audiophile and from the out input is to the speaker and im not using no preamp or amp. Can you guys help me out or is it impossible to do this?

I'm not sure what you're saying, but I think you can just hook the Audiophile outs directly to your Rolands - though you may need an adapter. The M-Audio mixer controls are in the Control Panel (if you're using Windows).
 
yeah I went into the control panel and I can hear the sound of an mp3 i played but how come I cant hear my keyboard sound? I hook it to the input I see it playing in the m audio control panel in the h/w in 1/2 in the monitor mixer but no sound but when I go to the patchbay/routher and select the H/W in 1/2 I hear my keyboard sound but I can't hear the mp3 playing? Why im asking this because I like to record live and play back the music I recorded but for some reason I would have to go back and forth to listen is there some kinda setting I need because I would like to have the sound playing at the same time.
