so i've had my powerbook g4 for a while now and have been frustrated with the fact that i cant do multitrack recording on it. i've bought cubase sx and reason 2.5. i am running it through a eurorack ub802(. http://www.musik-service.de/ProduX/Recording/Mischpulte/analog/Behringer_Eurorack_UB802.jpg) i have a double ended quarter inch cable running from the control room out of the mixer into the line in of the laptop. i cant playback through my headphones when i go to record a second track. please help me!!!

The best way to run a UB802 is like this: 802 FX Send >soundcard line in. soundcard line out> 802 line in channel 3/4 or 5/6. This will allow you to monitor via the 802 headphone out without creating a feedback loop.
