But I happened to have found myself in a situation where I could purchase seom bootleg cds (lol) and so I did. I bought about 25 cds for 2 bucks a pop. Great prices :D

However, rather than feel guilty - as I thought I would - since I really believe in supporting the artist - I feel . . . relieved . . . I am so woefully glad that I did not spend "standard store prices" on the artists I bought . . . these albums strait suck!!!

My god, had I purchased these cds - dammm - out of 25 there were like 5 that were truly hip hop - as opposed to a collection of carbon copy rap songs . . .

dammm - just . . . whew!!

ok - let me have it, for buyin bootleg - but does anyone else get pissed off when they buy these junk-cds?
 
EH I never buy one anyways. to me, why not go to like CD Warehouse and sell them in stores. Sure I respect their hustle, but a lot of the time, quality isn't there... That's just my opinion though. I bet there is some good music out there on the streets, being slung out of trunks, but I just don't know about the professional image of that... but good job supporting the artists! maybe you should listen to what you buy first.. isn't that what we do? listen to an artist, if we like them, we buy them.
 
Its cool to me cause like u said now a days 5 out of 25 CD's are actually worth buying..... i normally bootleg stuff then if i like it I go buy it..... ill be buying that new luda, lupe, and a couple others real soon.......
 
2 different repies gully -- got me wondering -- did you buy underground cd's, or bootlegged cd's of more popular artists?
 
billy - it was really of the "industry" folks - although i thought i had found some truly underground, indie dudes - but when i popped it in - it was that dammm "chicken noodle soup" group - n i was really pissed then!!!!!
-- although, i was lookin for . . . thirstin howl 3rd - all i found was his dvd . . . not much of a dvd person, so i passed on that

Yo, I usually download full albums from bit torrents. If I like, I'll go buy when I get the money. If I don't like it or I only like one or two songs, the Recycle Bin is getting FED today.
 
Its funny..cause back in the days('99-'01) i use to bootleg CDs to the bootlegger...since i could get them off the net before the bootlegger suppliers could get them the CDs..

it is so true..now adays you might find 1 out of 5 CDs worth listening to.. (Ludacris CD is banging,,BTW) but now adays i bearly listen to major artist unless im a fan(which is not many).. i dont ever bother to download anymore unless i want to hear the production on a certain album that i know will be coming out because of a certain producer..then i might or if my wife say she want to listen to it..or then that i will goto to CC or BB and get it fot $9.99 when it come out..

I use to download about 50 albums a week...(still have lots of them on CD..the rest are gone alone with my masters and some beats :( that were on my external Hard Drive)

its good to listen before you buy..since most store dont dot hat anymore..people turn to the internet to do that..then decide if they want to buy the Album

wow, didnt see this at all. yes - bknot has them now. i didnt do any mixing of the vocals to the beat cuz the count was off. so ask bknot about it -- and clean out your PMs :mad: lol.
 
Ok..got both of your vocals..will be workin on the track this week..in the process of setting my old PC back up for editing..since my MAC(G3 model) doesnt have enought space or memory for the editing...
 
Gully when u can re-record your last verse it has the beat in it..

Alot of bootlegs is snuck out by someone from there camp, Thats why the bootlegs get out quicker then the cd.
So if the producers,enginers,mastering houses, are leaking them what did we do wrong, The only cd I would buy are from underground artist and there bootleg. All the promo cds are being sold so they playing the buyer not the artist the artist gets free publicity the bootleger gets paid. Most cds coming out were already released as promo cds,mixtapes, Look at jeezy first album, Only 2 songswere oringinals, im not paying 15 for 2 songs.
