If you're having issues recording drums and money is a factor, You'd be better off spending it on something like DFHS or BFD.

well I guess I was hoping that this might be the one thing they make that doesn't suck. :o ...any alternative that you wanna suggest in the $300.00 dollar range?

Man, those are real drums. Just samples...layered many times over. And recorded MUCH better than you could probably pull off considering you're looking into Behringer to track your drums.

Of course, if that's what you can afford and you insist on micing up your kit....by all means, go for it.

I'm curious if I used my V-kit to trigger the samples, will I have any issues with dynamics, such as cymbal swells, ghost notes and such?

Try it:) I'm curious too. With a midi editor, you should be able to tweak everything untill it is to your liking

if you get good tracking then somthing like DKFH or BFD would be a perfect solution

BFD works with it fine. Check out the BFD forum at KVR for more detailed answers as I don't use one.

Well, their marketing folks appear to be masters of hyperbole.

How would you connect it to the US-122 and/or your computer?

Well, the description on their website says it has XLR outs and an optical/ADAT out. I'm assuming you would want to keep the channels all separate into your software, so you could only run 2 xlrs out to your tascam (which doesn't really add anything that you don't already have). The tascam doesn't have an optical input, so again, I don't know how you would connect it to your system.
