...what about Nady? I was thinking of getting a small mixer to hold me over - particularly a cheaper one (under $200) - the two that I am interested in are the Behringer MX802A (I can just see the looks now) and the Nady SRM10 (or something like that) - any thoughts?

Thanks.

Haven't tried the Nady, but I've had an MX802A for a year now and it's fine. Haven't had any problems with it and it's done the job for me.

Give it time Tim! Your Behringer mxr will develop some kinda' problem very shortly!!

I've had the 802a for over a year now and.....umm...it sucks..but it still works...:D

A friend of mine is on his 3rd 802A in 12 months because the phantom power (we now call it phantom menace) keeps breaking down. It's all under warranty, but it's a huge hassle.

Thats the thing with behringer mixers. Sure, you can get one that works, but that proves nothing. There are soooo many instances of people getting crappy units. Their quality control is hideous. Its not like all their units are messed up, but a large percentage of them break very easily.
