...to an amd athlon 64 4000+ processor. I had a 3200+ before this and felt it was lagging due to its lower l2 cache. I picked up the 4000+ at tiger direct for $84; a steal I think. Was this a cost-effective upgrade? I'm probably going to sell the 3200+ to get something back on it, but if anyone here would like it send me a PM and we could organize a payment/trade. I have a gig of ram and 200gb between two hard drives and am running reaper v1.77. also wondering if anyone else has the 4000+ and how it is working out for their DAW. thanks.
