I know how to make beats, and how to use the piano roll. But i don't know how to make my custom sounds. You know like making the sounds sound like i want them to... control them. All I know to do is make simple beats... but beside that i don't know about customizing or anything . Could anyone tell me how to customize and that stuff that i don't know... please!! like tell me the name of the thing i need to use in FL to customize the sounds and all of that stuff... tell me anything that have's to do with making sounds and putting together songs... u know how to do samples and that kinda stuff. Please!!! Thanks a lot. I want to make great songs... but i need help from u guys.... The person that helps me out will receive two gmail accounts. Thanks.

I think FL is a great program. The first thing you need to do is read all the documentation, the manual, or on-line help when you get time. With all software there is a learning curve that just takes putting in the time and can not be avoided. I know you are going to really enjoy working with and exploring the software interface. (IMHO) The first step is to learn how to open a project and create the file (s) or folder and saving it. No big deal but if you don't get this right and know how to save and reopen the project, then you are going to loose your first attempts, which if nothing more they are part of that learning curve.

If by custom sounds you mean adding effects, they should be listed in a drop down menu. If you are talking about using "samples" you will have to either create your own using the record feature or obtain them in some other way and access them through your CD drive or other means. I don't really know how and can not tell you which steps you need to go through right now since I have an older version of FL.

Keep the faith, Ozlee
