Well, I WANT to use it, it seems to be the most professional recording software avalibale for PC, but I still cannot find any good (and I mean good) tutorial to download !

So I thought trying again ....

I hope you plan on recording and tweaking alot of MIDI info. If you aren't intrested in recording MIDI data, I would recommend another DAW. Vegas is perfect for an all audio recording studio. Logic shines on MIDI automation and control of devices. For the average audio recording it's a bit complex and redundant. I tried it and like Vegas MUCH better.

Thanks. I mainly use analog recorder but for demos and dumping off ideas I use software. Currently use Nuendo and mainly record audio, about 70% audio 30% midi. I just like the Emagic built in effects and VST instruments in Logic much better and this is the main reson for wanting to using Logic instead.

For MIDI control mixed with audio multitracking Logic is an awesome program. I use an external sequencer so the two weeks I spent learning it was wasted when I realized the redundancy was costing me creativity and efficiency.
Although automating my mixer seemed cool the reality wasn't quite as smooth as I had envisioned.

Unless there's been an about turn, E-magic are about to discontinue Logic for PC - Mac only from now on. You might consider the value of learning an app' that may very well not be usable on future versions of Windows.

I am a dedicated Logic User with the ES1 and 2 and EXS24.
Took several years to learn it well, but its very stable and worthy. Handles VST easily. It is currently discontinued for PC but if you have the 5.3 Platinum version youre good to go for quite some time. As far as support you can use this forum for anything Logic.
