I have a quick question about my pt 8

I have pt8 on the mbox and everytime I load up a track now for some reason it keep saying ( File names that start with a period character should be renamed. The MAC OS can have diffculties with such files.

what in the hell does this means

What exactly do you mean by "load up a track"?

i'm guessing your trying to import files and these file names contain the "." character at the beginning of their title?
If I remember correctly Mac OSX views files that have a period as it's first character as invisible files...or database files.
