Im A Rapper
And I Dont Know Why But my quality never seems to come out as good as it should
Tell me If What i Am Doing Is Correct
And If Not What Should I Do

1. Import the Beat Using the Red And White Line In Chords(Reocording In Stereo Mode)
2.Record My Vocals(In Stereo Mode) In My Large Garage but Im 2 Start Recording In Mi Closet
3.Set The Cho/Del of the Vocals to 25 and reverb to 30
4.Bounce Tracks(Is there something i should do while im bouncing besides just letting it play through??)
Master Track What Effect Should i Use When Mastering It

And I Also See The EQ Button And When I Press it it just says on or off for each track how should i go about setting the EQ

U may jus need someone with experience to mix your tracks and eq them for a better feel. Not to many rappers mix there own material. Inless they got the ear for mixing and rapping. Im not sayin u cant but maybe u should look into gettin some help. Send me some of your material so i can hear it and see what its soundin like then i can prolly point u in a better direction. HIt me up on Aim or Yahoo messenger if need be.

Just bouncing leaves everything thin and quiet sounding, you need to play your stuff through a mastering patch that suits your songs. Everyone goes through this not liking their sound at first or a good sign that you may be getting critical with yourself. Here's what I did to tackle the problem..
After your song is recorded do a song copy with the utility function. This way if your mix stinks after you bounce it down or whatever you still have the original take to start over and work with. Or you can do two different ones and compare. Even so, do several song copies and mix them a little different, use different mastering patches and learn what you like about yourself.
Listen to some burned copies though different stereo's like your car, bedroom or computer. Some get annoying but you'll notice only a couple of days later. Keep notes of your settings roughly (inputs and whatnot), trust me, you'll never remember everything.
Fiddle with EQ's. don't leave everything stock it's like not moving the knobs on a guitar amp or a car stereo. THe closet idea will improve things for sure.
Try and find out what other people are using for rap as far as mics go.

Thanx A Lot
I Will Try That
I Was Thinking Maybe Instead Of Bouncing My Tracks I Would
Record My Song Then Export Both the Vocals And The Beat onto mi comp
But When I Do that Something happens and the Vocals are not in place with the beat

For mastering help theres a thread in here clearly explained by Gorty which could be a good reference for you sooner or later. That was my last thought hope all this helped
