Windows98se supports WDM drivers (as opposed to Windows98).
Your soundcard manufacturer should supply you with the actual drivers. Check their website to see if they are perhaps in development.

Most likely...

...you don't have any WDM drivers installed right now, since most audio hardware still has them forthcoming. But yes you can use WDM drivers under 98SE. you will probably have to download them from your audio hardware manufacturer and install them.

What kind of sound card/hardware are you using?

I am currently using the delta 1010, they said they will have those drivers in 3 months. (image)....me holding my breath.
so what's the deal? how will my functionality with sonar be diminished without these drivers?
thanks,
Davidm

The WDM drivers will allow you to hear plug-ins while tracking, and have low enough latency to play DXi synths responsively.

Yup...

I don't think you'll lose any Pro Audio 9 functionality without having WDM drivers, but you will probably be limited with it's new features. (We *all* will till those damn drivers actually come out!)
