Thanks for the listen... but this wasn't about distortion quality... it was nothing more than my putting up three commonly used mics and hitting record...

Yes I know, I just wanted to point out that maybe it would be easier to evaluate the mics with a more "open" amp setting. It sounds a bit scooped now, which makes it hard to listen for the mics midrange.
