I got some monitors YAY !!

These were the last hope of buying some monitors in town.

I got the yorkville YSM1i's

I tried them out next to a pair of yamaha's some active yorkies and i brought my one junker truth speaker to reference what i was used to.... The clairity of the low/mid range just killed my old speakers.. I never realized how mid/high mid rangy the truths were.. they sound absolutely awful in comparison... So far i'm happy with the speakers I got.. they'll more than do the trick until I get enough saved for some high end active monitors and i have enough to buy a new stove!! hehe so i won't be sleeping on the couch for buying new speakers instead of appliances we need .. everyone wins!


anyone ever use these monitors? what did you think?
 
hehe I'm just happy i don't have to go to toronto which would have involved me renting a car and likely finding a hotel room.. wich would cripple my budjet by around 300$ give or take
